Voigtländer Z-mount lenses are specially designed for use on Nikon Z system cameras.
The lenses with the notation D before the focal length cover the image circle of the APS-C size (Nikon DX format). The optical design is optimized for the image sensor of mirrorless cameras with Nikon Z-mount.
The lenses are equipped with electronic contacts and realize the communication between lens and housing.
In addition to the Exif information and the camera’s internal image stabilization (3 axes), three types of focusing functions are supported by the combination of a housing compatible with the communication and the latest firmware. The lens controls are all metal and feature heavily pronounced finger grips with a precise knurled pattern.
The design of the case combines a nostalgic look reminiscent of the “good old days” with functionality that enhances the feeling of manual operation. When using a full-frame body, the image area must be switched manually.
This product was developed and manufactured under a license agreement with Nikon Corporation.
